Pawsitively Love offers a different approach: a free-roam environment where dogs interact, explore, and rest together.
We are located on a wooded property in Loxahatchee, a short drive from West Palm Beach. Our model is simple. Dogs spend their days moving freely between indoor and outdoor spaces. The term “cage-free” is used loosely in the pet care industry. Here is what it means at our facility.
Freedom of Movement During the Day
Dogs are not confined to individual kennels. They spend their days in open areas, socializing with other dogs and moving freely between indoor and outdoor spaces. The property has mature trees, open grass, and shaded lounging areas.
Shared Sleeping Quarters at Night
When the day ends, dogs do not go into separate cages. They sleep together in a shared, climate-controlled room. This mimics the way dogs naturally sleep in a group, which can reduce anxiety for social dogs.
Supervised Group Play
Dogs interact with each other throughout the day. This provides mental stimulation and exercise that a solitary kennel cannot offer. As one long-time client noted, dogs go home “pooped” from a full day of activity .

Vaccination and Health Requirements
Before your dog can join the group, we must confirm a few health requirements. These exist to protect every dog on the property. Full details are on our instructions page.
Core Vaccinations
All dogs must be current on Distemper, Bordetella, Parvo, and Rabies . You will need to bring a hard copy of your dog’s current vet report. We do not keep records from previous visits and do not copy documents on-site.
Flea and Tick Prevention
Your dog must be free of fleas and ticks and protected with a veterinarian-recommended flea and tick medication .

Questions About Cage-Free Boarding
Is cage-free boarding safer than a kennel?
Cage-free boarding is not inherently safer for every dog. It is a different environment that suits certain temperaments. A social dog may be happier and less stressed in a free-roam setting, while an anxious or reactive dog may do better in a more controlled kennel environment. We assess each dog individually.
Can I tour the facility?
